This is another great thermometer by MeasuPro. This is my favorite cooking thermometer. I just choose from one of the pre-programmed meat choices and then select I if I want it rare, medium-rare, medium or well-done. I placed the probe in the center of meat, closed the oven (the cable is thin and allows the door to close completely). The thermometer alerts you when your meat reaches your desired temperature. There is also a pre-alarm that beeps when food is 10 degrees below desired temperature. The LCD screen is easy to read and the cooking thermometer is easy to set.
